Consultancy on the promotion of diversity in the PSA Peugeot Citroen corporate group
PSA Peugeot Citroen, a worldwide corporate group with approximately 200.000 employees, showed sincere commitment to implement principles stated in its ethics charter: The group's local branch in Spillern, Austria, aims at reflecting the diversity of society by increasing the percentage of its non-Christian and multi-national employees. Peugeot Citroen's Human Resources department organised several meetings for their employees to discuss multiculturalism as an opportunity. Tarafa Baghajati from the Initiative of Austrian Muslims and member of ENAR together with Martin Jäggle from the University Vienna guided two separate roundtables for Muslims and Christians as well as a common panel discussion in the spring of 2010. As part of its "Accord Mondial strategy for social responsibility", PSA Peugeot Citroen has signed the UN Global Act, a declaration of principles in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption - it anchored theses principles in the corporate group's ethics charter.
